Lost Car Keys & Stolen Car Keys
Dont Panic
If you have lost your car keys or your car keys have been stolen, we can provide you with replacements. We know what it feels like to lose car keys, especially away from home, thats why our service is fast, friendly and reassuring using quality replacement keys and remotes.
Why use us?
Simply we are a far better option to the alternative. We come to you saving you time, effort and extra expense. We aim to provide you with replacement keys the same day, often within a few hours. Generally we are always cheaper and can still provide you with quality genuine keys.
The alternative means using a main dealer, where you will encounter several issues. You will have to order keys, which at best usually takes around 2-3 days and as much as 7-10 days with some! To do this you will have to pay up front and take in your vehicle documents as well as proof of Id.
Then you will have to get the vehicle to the dealer for the vehicle to be programmed with the new keys. This could be very expensive for you, made worse because the vehicle is locked and you have no key to remove the steering lock.
Main dealers can be very expensive. Often you will incur a programming charge or a labour charge for the keys to be programmed to the vehicle. There may also be a hidden cost of security pin codes required to access the programming system in the vehicle.
How does it work?
When you contact us, we will need to know the following:
- Service required.
- Location of the vehicle.
- Make, Model and age of the vehicle.
- Your contact details
From this information we can provide you with a quote, this will be an inclusive price meaning there are no hidden or further costs. We then come to you and cary out the entire replacement key service at the vehicle. Only once the work is completed and you are satisfied, will we take any payment.
How do you do it?
You will have an allocated time that a mobile technician will attend you and your vehicle. We open the car or van using specialist damage free entry.
We then have to cut the keys using a key code. If you’re lucky you might have this in your paperwork or manual, we may obtain it on your behalf, but often we will decode one of the existing locks on the car to give us the code.
The next step is to program your cars ECU or immobiliser system to accept the keys. This is usually done with diagnostic equipment that we plug into the car and often requires a security pin code. Don’t worry if you haven’t got the code as we can obtain this from the car itself or or from the main dealer on your behalf.
The final step is to check everything is working as it should and hand you the keys!
In some cases the entire process can take as little as 15 minutes and usually no longer than 1 hour.
How can I pay?
We are flexible when it comes to payment options. We take most major credit and debit cards with our state of the art mobile payment terminals. This means if you are stuck at the roadside or simply don’t have any money, you don’t need to worry. We often encounter customers with handbags stolen, meaning more often than not that a purse has been taken too, don’t worry as we can take payments over the phone as well as options like Paypal.
Please note that we are no longer able to accept cheques.
